The Beauty of Mystery
Welcome to my spiritual corner! Not everyone use the term "spiritual" in the same way, so what is my personal way of using it?I first see the term as denoting an interest in exploring what I call the Great Mystery: all the unknowns, all the questions about existence, all the beliefs and practices that seeks to make sense of the world around us. Where I view sciences as exploring the Great Mystery in ways that allow us to find truthful facts, I view Spirituality as the continuation. Everything we cannot prove falls into the domain of spiritual topics. This leads me to calling spirituality a journey of self-discovery as well as the shape your faith take. Exploring the Great Mystery often results is learning to know yourself better, and in doing so, you start to see what matters to you, what your values are, what you believe into, and what you don't. Because to me, Faith is as much all the "I believe X exist" than all the "I don't believe X exist". And valuing freedom, love, compassion, etc mean you have faith into these values. Why else would they matter to you so much? And finally, to me, what matters the most is the journey itself. Yes, it is amazing to find ourselves, our beliefs, our values. Yet, there is beauty in the never-ending mystery of it all, in the nuances and diversity of what you can find. It is infinite potential that each of us make real in our own terms, in our own ways. We never stop growing, learning, and shaping ourselves. In turn, the mystery remains intact because each of us continue to grow, to see new elements, to share with the world, and give new ideas to think about. So yes, spirituality to me is a journey: one we might start at some point, but one that never ends. And on this site, I wish to share insight of my own journey, in the hope it will help yours one way or another!
So rest your mind, open your heart~
